These internets are filled with many a vegan food, recipe, travel, and product blog. So much so that I felt I was finding everything I needed as a lurker. And technically, I guess I am. But after some convincing from friends and the realization that there’s always room for another recommendation or opinion, I thought I’d jump right into the vegan mixmaster. So here I am, almost a two-year vegan veteran, food-lover, traveler, and total product fiend ready to deliver my experiences and recommendations to those who are interested.

Other things about me you might find interesting:

  • I’m not the greatest cook in the world. In fact there are way better vegan cooks in my own neighborhood and on the internet (check out my links section).
  • I’m hoping this blog will help me improve my photography. As it is, my camera always gives me the hand.
  • Please, dear Scrumpdilly, help me explore. More food, more places, more products.
  • I’m a regular reader, but a rare commenter. I’m shy that way.
  • I haven’t played my Les Paul bass since I started vegan cooking.
  • I have a Master’s Degree in Geography.
  • I use my degree every day in my dayjob.
  • I’m a misplaced/relocated Louisianian.
  • I have a brown thumb, but I’m growing basil, mint, tomatoes, cayenne, cilantro, and parsley. Let’s see what survives.
  • I have the best husband, two dogs, and one brat-cat.
